No box, just the bags inside the delivery box. None of the bags are numbered making the set harder to build.
Overall the set was great for the price and I got a lot of enjoyment from it, however after about a week after fully building it the shifter no longer worked as intended, and the car will only move a few feet before some mechanism locks up and then makes a clicking noise when pushed further, haven’t figured out what the issue is. And a tube piece that connects to the engine got caught in between the ends of the bag it came in and got melted into the bag, was able to separate it without further damage but the end of the tube was crushed. Besides that, great product and will be buying from here again.
All in all, pretty good. Missing a shifter band. Many of the axle type parts were either too tight or loose. Had to do some sanding to get parts work properly. The stickers were terrible, they would not adhere completely. Instructions were small and hard to read. Once I got through these issues, the kit worked ok.
I was obv concerned about buying a replica set but as soon as I from the 1st email with Juan, I was reassured immediately! Juan was super fast, helpful and very professional!! My son (18) agreed that the quality is great! I did have a highly mechanical piece not function properly but mybuildinglbocks had a replacement sent out that same day! Highly recommend!!
Good build, looks identical to the Lego version in every way. The only disappointment, is it didn’t come with a box!! All the separate packages were thrown into one big bag Рlost a star for that.
