Off brand bricks?

Are they different in a way?

UCS AT-AT

The set came complete at a decent time, though the only problem I came across when building this set as a few previous ones is that the technic pieces can be pretty noticeably stiff and will sometimes require tools to push in or take out if a mistake is made during building. The stiffness of technic specific pieces is not a life or death build changing experience but can be rather difficult to work with during builds. With that said, this is definitely worth getting if you cannot afford the $800 asking price, and though it doesn't come in its 'Lego certified box set' it still comes in numbered bags all inside of one giant box, or at least that's how I received mine.

TL;DR: As someone who wanted to get the official set badly but couldn't afford the ludicrous prices, I found this to be a much more preferrable alternative
