Profiles in History will be holding their Three Million Dollar Hollywood Auction 40 June 10-12 and Superman memorabilia will be featured once again:

Superman Returns large sculptural maquette, plus prop crystal and newspaper:
Cast-resin hand-painted sculptural model 24 in. high, created as a costume proposal for changes to previously existing Superman screen portrayals, with cloth cape attached; a 9 1/2 in. clear acrylic "Kryptonite" crystal prop with accompanying laser-copy production design illustrating its use; and a prop "Daily Planet" fully-detailed newspaper dated September 28th, 2006 announcing "THE MAN OF STEEL IS BACK", accompanied by (14) laser-printed production designs. $3,000 $5,000

Dean Cain "Superman costume from Lois & Clark: the new Adventures of Superman:
Superman costume consisting of blue Spandex jumpsuit with "S" emblem sewn onto the chest, red Spandex briefs with yellow belt, and red cotton cape with studio distressing. Handwritten inside the briefs, "Stunt Fly", indicating these were used during flying sequences. Worn by Dean Cain as the "Man of Steel" on the popular television series, which also starred Teri Hatcher as the intrepid Daily Planet reporter, "Lois Lane". with a Warner Bros. COA. $3,000 $5,000

Incredible Signed Photograph as "Superman". Approx. 7 3/4 in. x 9 3/4 in., black & white image of the smiling actor seated in a chair wearing his iconic costume as the "Man of Steel". Inscribed in black ink on the image, "To Sam Thank you George Reeves". Margins trimmed slightly; archival repair on 1/2 in. diameter spot on the light portion at lower left of the image; otherwise, fine. Original signed photographs of Reeves in character as "Superman" are seldomly encountered. $3,000 - $5,000
