Is star wars played out? Do we need a cartoon star wars?

Haters, Haters, Haters. This response is not gonna get me a best answer so I’m going all out. ok, lets clear some things up. first of all, the prequel trilogy movies are called:

The Phantom Menace
Attack of the Clones
and Revenge of the Sith

Secondly chachi21, if you don’t know anything about this movie, don’t talk about it. If you were a real Star Wars fan, you would know that this movie didn’t start out as a movie, but as the Cartoon Network series that will air beginning this fall. they liked it so much that they decided that it should start with a movie. If you were a real fan, you would also know that just because its animated doesn’t mean its for children. All of the Star Wars movies were meant to be family movies. This one is no different. The only difference is that its animated. it seems like thats the problem you’re having with it. If you can get over that and give it a chance, I’m sure you’ll like it. That goes for all the haters out there.

And for idril, they are planning a live action television series set between episodes III and IV. but many REAL Star Wars fans also want to know more about the Clone Wars. so thats what this movie and the animted show that follows it will address. hopefully that live action show will be coming soon. And come on, Ewoks? You can do better than that.

But how can it be overkill. Overkill is Starship Troopers 3 (straight to DVD). The first one was good, but come on. If its headed straight to DVD then it must really suck.

Do I think its played out? No. If it was played out they wouldn’t still be releasing movies, television series, books, comics, and video games. This tells me that there is still a big demand for it. If people are still buying it, then they’ll keep making it. Doesn’t sound played out to me. Will it do better than other Star Wars movies at the box office? I doubt it. but will it win the weekend its released? I would put my money on it. its gonna be more of an action movie where you’ll see lots of fighting and maybe a glimse of Anakin growing as a jedi. give it a chance. I’m sure you’ll like it.
